This appetizer is very easy to make and is one of those things that you always eat willingly, it could be a recipe for Christmas or New Year that is made quickly. If you are in a hurry, buy the already grilled courgettes, obviously homemade at the moment are preferable.
Ingredients for 18/20 pieces
1 roll of rectangular puff pastry
1 large courgette
4/5 slices of Prague ham
150 g of spreadable goat cheese
poppy and sesame seeds
Direction:
Wash and cut the courgette thinly, if you have a vetebale slicer or a potato peeler it would be ideal, preheat the plate, sprinkle with fine salt and when hot, grill the courgettes.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
Open the pastry, spread a layer of goat cheese over the entire surface.
Cover with the Prague ham and finally with the grilled courgettes. Don't go right up to the edges, leave 1 cm.
Roll the pastry on the longer side with the help of the parchment paper to form a roll. Cover with parchment paper and put it in the refrigerator for at least half an hour (or even in the freezer if you have enough space).
Remove the roll from the refrigerator, now cut into strips lengthwise, cover the surface of the pastry with the poppy and sesame seeds and bake for about 20 minutes until you see the puff pastry is colored. If you want to give an intense and shiny browning to the puff pastry and make sure that the seeds adhere numerously, brush it with egg yolk.
